I have been given a commission to paint the Swallow Falls in North Wales. I think it may be the first time I have attempted a waterfall so its not going to be easy. I have been given a photo and have looked the falls up on line and done some sketches. This week I have done a watercolour which is OK ish but seems to lack the impact I was looking for. Am going to try it in oils instead and see it that works better. I have posted the watercolour below and will put up the oil as it progresses .
